# Email Alerts

Get notified by email whenever a monitor goes down or recovers. Email alerts are available on all plans.

### Enabling for yourself

Go to **Monitors** → **Your monitor** → **Alerts** and enable email notifications. You can add multiple addresses and choose whether to alert on incidents, recoveries, or both.

### Enabling for your users

Users can subscribe to email alerts directly from your status page. Go to **Status Pages** → **Your page** → **Alerts** to control whether email is available as a subscription option.

### Unsubscribing (users)

Every alert email includes an unsubscribe link at the bottom.
