# SMS Alerts

Get notified by text message whenever a monitor goes down or recovers. SMS alerts are only available on the **Enterprise** plan.

### Enabling for yourself

Go to **Monitors** → **Your monitor** → **Alerts** and enable SMS notifications. Enter the phone number you want alerts sent to, including the country code.

### Enabling for your users

Users can subscribe to SMS alerts directly from your status page. Go to **Status Pages** → **Your page** → **Alerts** to control whether SMS is available as a subscription option.

### Unsubscribing (users)

Users can reply **STOP** to any alert message at any time to unsubscribe.
